This fun workshop introduces the processes of design and research to build a narrative through illustration. Rob will teach design composition, scale, colour, tool choice, building layers and more. 

Students will have the opportunity to acquire a basic ability of expression through illustration as well as gain the confidence and skills necessary to complete final, unique illustrations, created from their own narrative. Students should be open and willing to find some new direction by starting with simply picking up a pencil.

Rob Barrington is a professional artist and illustrator who is energetic and passionate about the process of creative design. From his strength in illustration he teaches drawing techniques and compositional direction to all levels of experience; either new to the art, or for those wanting new skills to progress their existing practice.
