HOW DO I FIND OUT ABOUT COURSE SCHEDULES?

 

The school website has all the information you need. We don't print term-time schedules in hard copy although we may produce a fold-out brochure of winter and summer schools as and when these courses occur. Term schedules are updated at around mid-way through each preceeding term.

 

 

HOW DO I ENROL IN A COURSE?

 

From your chosen course page, click the 'Book Now' text beside the course cost. This will take you to a booking page.

We ask for your details, name, email address etc. From here you are taken to the payment page where you may pay through Stripe by using your preferred debit or credit card. Your place is confirmed once you have completed this.

 

 

HOW DO I SELECT A SUITABLE COURSE?

 

Go to our 'Courses / Overview' page where you will see indications of course levels. These are simply our recommendations and you may enrol at a level that you feel is most appropriate. You must also consider whether a course falls on a day or time that suits you. We are always happy to answer your questions if you are still unsure. 

 

 

CAN I VISIT THE SCHOOL?

 

You are welcome to visit us and to sit in on a class as an observer. Please call us to make an appropriate time for this.

 

 

IS THE SCHOOL ACCREDITED WITH THE NEW ZEALAND QUALIFICATIONS AUTHORITY (NZQA)?

 

No, we aren't accredited. The school sits independently from the requirements of national standards and qualifications.

 

 

HOW DO I APPLY FOR ENTRY INTO THE YEAR-LONG PROGRAMMES?

 

In August we begin advertising for expressions of interest. Once you have registered your details and your requested course level, we will contact you with an interview date. Entry is by interview and work (portfolio) assessment. Painting 1 does not require evidence of prior practice. Click here for details.

 

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF I WANT A COURSE REFUND?

 

The school's course refund policy is indicated in our 'Terms & Policies' document. All prospective students are asked to read this prior to enroling in any course.

 

 

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT MATERIALS TO PURCHASE?

 

All courses, except where indicated, have a materials list to download. This is available at the bottom of each course page on the school website or from the booking/payment page.
