Browne School of Art is on a main arterial route and easily accessible by public transport. Go to the Auckland Transport website for details and to plan your best travel route.

 

 

PARKING

 

As with most destinations within close proximity of the CBD, car parking is at a premium during weekdays and there are residents parking restriction times of 120 minutes in most streets within walking distance from the school. 

 

Exceptions to this rule, with all day parking still available are:

• Immediately around the corner from the school, in Brisbane St, towards the cut-de-sac end.

• The complete length of Dean St on the northern side [the side nearest the school]. Dean St runs behind the school, parallel to Great North Rd.

• After 10am, the 30 metres of Great North Rd, immediately opposite the school, from the corner of Turakina St. This area is unmarked at present.

 

In th evenings, after 6pm, these restrictions do not apply and parking is fairly plentiful along Great North Rd and side streets.
