This Watercolour workshop with Georgie Hill is the follow-up in the 'Fluidity and Structure' series, building further skills for working with watercolour and its exciting potential within a contemporary art practice. Explore this vibrant painting medium through experimentation with techniques and processes to create dynamic compositions.

We will look at a range of artists both past and present who have worked with watercolour to great effect and discuss art historical references, as well as what makes watercolour a relevant and potent medium of choice today. We will then experiment with similar painting techniques and approaches. There will be time allocated to develop a painting focused on your own personal areas of interest. Technical demonstrations and one-to-one feedback and guidance will be given

The workshop is great for those who wish to experiment and work further with the medium within their own practice and is also suitable for beginners to watercolour painting. You don't need to have attended the first part of the 'Fluidity and Structure' series to join this course.
