This 2-day portrait class focuses on direct wet-into-wet (alla prima) oil painting using the Zorn palette of white, yellow ochre, red, and black.

The course explores classical approaches and techniques, including palette organisation, colour, tone, light, proportion, and anatomical structure, with students applying these methods to painting from a live model.

Participants receive one-to-one feedback, alongside demonstrations and discussions on the principles of light, colour, and form.
