This intensive mixed-media workshop delves into the exciting world of repetitive motifs, colour, pattern, shape and form, and draws inspiration from some of the most celebrated artists of the last 100 years. Investigate symmetry, illusion, geometry, positive and negative space, simplicity, complexity, layering, composition, balance, rhythm and replication. Work with a variety of different surfaces and formats, and explore a range of more process-driven and conceptual approaches in your arts practice. 

Through a series of both group exercises and smaller, more self-directed projects, we'll channel your inner obsessive to produce a selection of dynamic artworks ready to take away.
