This intensive mixed-media workshop delves into the exciting world of repetitive motifs, colour, pattern, shape and form, and draws inspiration from some of the most celebrated artists of the last 100 years.

Here you'll investigate symmetry, illusion, geometry, positive and negative space, simplicity, complexity, layering, rhythm and replication. Work with a variety of surfaces and sizes, and explore a range of more conceptual and process-driven approaches in your art-making. 

Through a series of both group exercises and smaller, more self-directed projects, we’ll channel your inner obsessive to produce a selection of dynamic artworks ready to take away. 

This fun, hands-on workshop is suitable for all levels of experience and will boost your creativity as we head into the summer break.
