Toni has a passion for artworks on paper. She works in printmaking, drawing and artist books. Originally from Colorado/Wyoming, Toni received her MFA in Printmaking from the State University of New York, Buffalo 2003.
Having taught for over 20 years, she loves working within the community whether this is with pop-up print workshops or art classes she teaches to all ages, as well as creating work in her studio, Blue Bathtub Press.
Toni has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in NZ and overseas. Since calling New Zealand home she has been in the WSA Painting and Printmaking Award, Parkin Drawing Prize, was invited to participate in the Re-Trace project in 2016, also part of the Toi Ako Mentoring programme through Connect The Dots (2019) and most recently she has been an Artist in Residence at the Howick Historical Village (2021).
Her work is inspired by the people she meets and the stories they tell.
