If you find that acrylics dry too quickly, and oils too slowly, then this workshop is for you!

Golden Open Acrylics are slower drying than regular acrylics so they allow a generous amount of time to work with them.

Kathy Barber introduces a weekend of exploration with slow-drying acrylics that will suit your painting style. Kathy will demonstrate a basic example of her abstraction and how she manipulates open acrylics to achieve depth and layering.

On day 1, students will have the opportunity to experiment with Golden Open Acrylics* using various brushes and tools.

Day 2, will focus on increasing format size and the challenges that come with upscaling. 

This is a supportive learning environment suitable for students of all abilities.
