Meighan Ellis is a multidisciplinary artist, with a background and professional training in photography, moving image, writing and more recently, a re-acquaintance with clay.
She holds an MFA (1st class honours) and is a specialist in the subject and history of photography. Meighan has been a lecturer in this area for nearly two decades at tertiary level, alongside her contemporary fine art and commercial photographic practice.
Meighan has exhibited her work in New Zealand, America, Europe, Australia and Japan. She is currently represented by
Sanderson Contemporary in Auckland and her photographic and ceramic works are held in private collections throughout New Zealand and overseas.
