Jo Dalgety has been a student of Browne School of Art and has gone on to further her art practice and tutor in art. She is involved in the Dornwell Studios artists' collective in Auckland and belongs to the Hikuai Art Group, Coromandel.

Jo has been a Molly Morpeth Canaday Art & Waiheke Art Awards finalist. She is currently studying her MFA at Whitecliffe College, and has adult teaching qualifications.

Jo’s practice is about time and place. The merging of people and the land is a poignant theme, as human coexistence becomes increasingly imbalanced. Fear, but also hope for the future, is embedded in her thinking.

Jo is represented by Railway Street Gallery in Newmarket, Auckland.
