Interested in mixed media painting but don’t know where to start? Confused by the huge number of products that confront you when you step into an art shop? This exciting hands-on 2-day workshop has an exploratory focus and will give you a clearer understanding of how different materials and processes can be used and combined to increase your mark-making repertoire and create a sense of depth and texture in a painting.

Glazes, texture and interference mediums, spray-paint, inks, gouache,

and collage, are some of the painting and drawing media and approaches that will be explored across the two days.

This workshop is suited to students of all levels. If you are a beginner it will get you started. If you are currently painting it will energise and extend your practice. There will be plenty of opportunity during the weekend for demonstrations and individual discussion.
